Baby Audio Upgrade Software Activation Instructions
Getting Started
This guide will show you how to activate and access your Baby Audio software upgrade. To continue, follow each of the sections below.
Baby Audio Account
Baby Audio software requires a Baby Audio account. If you already have an account and want to register your new software to that account, please verify the login before proceeding. Most users will only have one account, but in some cases, you may create another account to distinguish different locations, users, etc…
IMPORTANT! Do not create multiple accounts if you only need one. Instead, try accessing the account using your current login. If necessary, try resetting your password or recovering your account login.
Sign in with an existing Baby Audio account
- Go to the Baby Audio Account Management page.
- Enter your current login and click Continue.
- Click your user icon and select Order History.
- Verify your current products are registered to the current account.
Upgrade Key
Sweetwater has emailed you the Upgrade Key to activate your software. Open the email, find the Upgrade Key, and follow the steps below to register.
Register Upgrade Key
- Go to the Smooth Operator Pro Upgrade page.
- Enter your account’s email and your Upgrade Key.
- Enter your current Smooth Operator V1 License Key and click Submit.
Download and Install
Smooth Operator Pro software is downloaded from the Baby Audio Downloads page. You can download them from the Smooth Operator Pro Upgrade page, too.
Download and install software
- Go to the Baby Audio Downloads page.
- Click your product’s download button compatible with your computer.
- Open your Downloads folder and run the installer:
- PC: Right-click the .zip file, select Extract all…, then click Extract. In the new folder, double-click the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Mac: Double-click the .zip file to unpack it. Double-click the .pkg file and follow the on-screen instructions.
Activate Software
Once downloaded and installed, you then use the Upgrade Key to complete the activation process.
Activate software upgrade
- Launch your DAW, create a project and add an audio track.
- Load your Baby Audio plug-in as an effects plug-in.
- When the activation window appears, copy and paste the Upgrade Key you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer, then click Continue.
