I have 3 ADATs and a BRC. The first two ADAT’s sync, but the third doesn’t – even when the ADATs are chained in different orders.
Gary Brenner at Apogee Electronics contributed this tip :
1. Turn all ADATs and the BRC off.
2. Turn the LAST ADAT in the chain on, while holding the RECORD and PLAY buttons to reset the unit.
3. Continue turning on each ADAT from last to first while holding RECORD and PLAY to reset each unit.
It is also recommended that the all units (including the BRC) have the latest available software, and that all sync cables are Alesis brand cables.
