Treat yourself to the sound of the late ’60s and early ’70s by using the H2 Audio 0011. Part microphone preamp, part 3-band EQ, this unit delivers the iconic sonics of a Type 69 channel. You get plenty of gain, flexible tone shaping, and updates to serve the modern studio better than ever. The 0011 microphone preamp/EQ is available in multiple configurations, including mono 500 Series modules and a rackmountable stereo unit. Additionally, H2 Audio offers a selection of 500 Series rack cases for pure, uninterrupted analog goodness.

A sensational re-creation of the FET compressor famously used on Led Zeppelin’s “When the Levee Breaks,” the H760 is the perfect choice for slamming drums. This little unit offers both compression and limiting. On the compression side of things, you get a fixed threshold and six preselected ratios. There’s a separate threshold for limiting. The H760 makes dialing up the perfect sound incredibly easy — just as it should be.

The Helios Channel packs an incredible amount of flexibility, considering its modest size. This unit takes the 0011 microphone preamp/EQ and the H760 compressor/limiter and crams them into a 2U chassis. It delivers one of the most sought-after analog recording chains ever built. The real beauty of the Helios Channel is found in the individual I/O for the compressor and mic pre. This allows you to use the Helios Channel as a full channel strip, a standalone mic pre/EQ, or solely as a compressor. With its incredible flexibility and superlative sound, the Helios Channel is a space-saving must-have for any recording engineer.

Amazing analog sound is at the heart of the H2 Audio vision. The company spares no expense sourcing high-quality components to guarantee that every unit delivers the vaunted Helios sound engineers crave. For example, H2 Audio employs a custom Lustraphone input transformer for the 0011 mic preamp. A painstaking replica of those found within original Helios preamp circuits, the Lustraphone transformer revives the classic sound heard from the late ’60s to the ’80s and beyond.
