For those of us who happen to be addicted to the sound of those grand Solid State Logic (or SSL for those “in-the-know) analog consoles, the folks at Waves have released “The SSL 4000 Collection.” Now, for a tiny fraction of what an SSL console would cost (and with the full “thumbs up” from SSL), you can own three Waves plug-ins that offer up meticulously detailed, modeled versions of the SSL G-Master Buss Compressor, the SSL G-Equalizer, and the SSL E-Channel. If you don’t happen to have the money for a vintage SSL4000 console (assuming you even have the space to put it in), you’ve got to check these out! Available for TDM and Native systems.
