The venerable Porta Studio lives. TASCAM has delivered a batch of new Porta2mkII machines. The Porta2 has been one of the most successful products in TASCAM’s history, and for good reason. It’s time for October’s WSOTM (Web Site of the Month) award. Once again proving that you can find just about anything on the web, this month’s award goes to the topically (Halloween) related Find a Grave website. Yes, you can search and locate the gravesites of famous and non-famous people across the country.
Today we are defining the 800th word in WFTD. As we approach 1000 words in our specialized dictionary the palate of terms to choose from continues to narrow. There are plenty still to do, but the scope and subject matter of most of them isn’t as applicable to as broad an audience (as if words like Sequencer and MIDI apply to that broad an audience in the first place). If anyone runs across a term they’d like to know more about please let us know and we’ll get it on the list to define. If you’re wondering about it other people probably are too.
