Wow! I had a great time with the GW-7. It took no time at all to read the manual and gain a great understanding of the keyboard. I plugged it in and started making music right away. It is extremely easy to move around the house. If I want to make music in the basement or upstairs, I can carry it there quickly.
The sounds are great! With 862 onboard sounds I could always find the one I wanted. They are arranged logically so finding the right one was speedy. The effects are great and add to the ambience of the sounds.
The onboard rhythm tracks are a lot of fun. They added to my enjoyment of playing the keyboard. Transposing and altering the sound is just a touch away. The filter and envelope knobs are positioned well and give great instant control of the patches. I love the tap tempo button. It lets me set the tempo of the song with my own hands.
The display gives you all of the information you need. It made editing fast and concise.
What a great keyboard and what an amazing price!
