A Designs HM2 Compressor “The Nail” — Designed to pair perfectly with HM2 Equalizer “The Hammer,” the latest member of the HM2 family, “The Nail” is a dual mono compressor that can be stereo-linked. A mix feature lets you blend the compressed signal with the dry signal. Metering is via an LED array.
Yamaha DTX-Multi 12 — The latest drum pad controller from Yamaha’s Electronic Drum Department features 12 trigger zones in a two-tier layout that makes accurate playing easy. The pads can be triggered using sticks, hands, or fingers. Each pad can have four layers or velocity switches, 1,249 sounds are provided, and there is a built-in sequencer, loops, effects, and five-band EQ, plus tons more.
Universal Audio UAD-2 Plug-ins — Universal Audio announced partnerships with more of the leading pro audio companies to create new plug-ins for the UAD-2 series DSP cards. Among those slated to work with UA are the Harman Pro Group (Lexicon, AKG, dbx, and Studer), Manley, and Dunlop (MXR and others).
Visual Sound GarageTone Pedals — This new line of pedals is designed to bring rugged, boutique tone to an entirely new price range. The line consists of five pedals: Oil Can Phaser, Chainsaw Distortion, Drivetrain Overdrive, Chopper Tremolo, and Axle Grease Delay.
Waldorf Largo 1.5 — The latest version of Largo adds a new browser for easily managing sounds, enhanced oscillators, an arpeggiator, chorus and reverb effects, RTAS support using the FXpansion wrapper, 500 new sounds, and more.
