If you should decide to change the visual contents displayed around a multi-measure rest (which is most easily accomplished from within the Scroll View), keep this information in mind:
* Entries that are not note-attached (for example, measure-attached expressions and text blocks) will be displayed at the multi-measure rest as long as they are attached to the first measure within the region.
* If you wish to change that barline after a multi-measure rest, it is important to note that you must change the barline that comes after the last measure in the region.
Keep in mind that the Quickstart videos, which are included on the Finale DVD, are a great (and sometimes overlooked) resource. Watching a brief video tutorial is often the equivalent of reading many pages of written instructions. View them when you are getting started with Finale. Revisiting appropriate sections as needed will be very useful as you delve deeper into the application!
