Q: “I just updated my DriveRack from 1.0 to 2.50 and it is doing weird things, what is wrong?”
A: The jump from 1.0 to 2.50 is huge and a lot of changes have taken place. In order to complete an update of this magnitude you must perform a hard reset upon completion of the update. This will clear out the SRAMS completely and ready the DriveRack for it’s new software.
To update perform a hard reset, simply press and hold the button at power-up until the following message appears:
“! HARD RESET?”
Choose “YES” which will start a Factory Reset (FYI: All User Programs will become copies of the Factory Programs, all Utility settings will be defaulted, and all Security settings will be defaulted).
