Mitch Gallagher puts the Blue Hummingbird condenser microphone to the test, with help from guitarist Don Carr. The pivoting capsule on the Hummingbird makes it easy to get the perfect angle on any sound source, even in confined spaces like under a snare drum.
The Hummingbird can handle high SPLs too, up to 130dB, so it’s ready for a wide range of sound sources. In the video, you’ll hear Don Carr playing a Taylor 710ce acoustic guitar, recorded by the Hummingbird through Universal Audio’s Apollo Twin audio interface.
