MOTU has just released several new drivers for their USB and FireWire interfaces. The MOTU FireWire/USB Installer contains a version 1.4.0 driver update for the MOTU 828, 896, 828mk2, 828mk2 USB, 896HD, and Traveler. Cuemix console supports external control surfaces, talkback and listenback capabilities, and I/O port names. This install also provides compatibility updates for iMac Intel Core Duo, Tiger OS X 10.4x, and is compatible with OS X versions back to Panther 10.3.0. This version also contains maintenance firmware updates for the Traveler. MOTU’s MIDI Driver 1.3.2 for MOTU MIDI interfaces now includes Intel Mac compatibility. System requirements are Mac OS X 10.2 or higher. These are all free downloads for registered MOTU owners.
