Universal Audio has released official SSL plug-ins for the UAD-2 platform on Mac and Windows PC. The new plug-ins include the E Series Channel Strip (complete with “black knob” and “brown knob” 4-knob EQ variations) and the G Series Bus Compressor, and emulate the much sought-after tonality of the SSL 4000 mixing console. The plug-ins feature the same easy-to-use and simple-to-understand control set of the original hardware sections on the console.
