It seems expensive for a power cord but my puppy chewed up the original power cable. I was in a hurry and when you spend over $ on an interface I didn't feel like looking for a cheaper option.

I have 3 of this Power supplies for my Apollo X4.

After less of a year of mild use the first has died, and take extreme care of my gear. After reading Universal Audio forums it is well known that this Power Supply constantly fail to other users.

Cons:

-It is made in China.

-You have to wait quite a bit to get one because it is not always on stock (The cause: either the production is slow or there are other users that also order this item because it fails often).

-It is very hard or impossible to get outside US depending on which country you live in.

-It is the only Power supply that fully works with the Apollo x interfaces (it has the lock system, and you don't loose your warranty).


Pros:

-The Box it comes on looks sharp.

-The cable is long enough for most spaces.

I have been doing remote recording, going to the client. Getting this extra power supply, and extra MacBook power supply to always in my to go bag.
So much easier to have those 2 things ready, no more climbing under or behind to disconnect them to bring with me.
