I wish to bounce to disk with my DS2416, but the master output objects have no “Bnce” button. Can I do this with the DSP factory?

Yes you can, but with this system it is done a little differently. In order to bounce tracks to disk, you must change the “DS2416 Routing” setup. On the right side of the window, under “Output Patches”, change the “Rec 1-2” patch from “In 1-2” to “Out 1-2”. You must leave two tracks free to record the bounced file to. Now, when you set a track to record from “In 1-2”, an internal digital connection will be made with all tracks assigned to “Out 1-2”. The resulting file will contain everything that is assigned to “Out 1-2”. When you are done with your bounce, reset “Rec 1-2” to “In 1-2”.
