When trying to open Pro Tools Express, I get a message that says “Unable to locate hardware. Make sure your hardware is connected and turned on. Click OK when the hardware is ready” but it won’t let me click OK.

Make sure you’re using a 3rd generation Mbox/Mbox Mini or a Fast Track Solo/Duo. Pro Tools Express can only work with one of these interfaces. It’s also a good idea to make sure your drivers are up to date. You can download them via the links below.
