What’s the latest software version of the BRC? Is this update user installable?
The latest software for the BRC is 2.04 . While it is technically user installable, there are a few things to consider.
– There are about 20 screws to remove and multiple ribbon cables to disconnect in order to get to the rom chip and change it.
– Depending on the age of the BRC, additional hardware upgrades may be necesarry
For these reasons, it is recommend that you send your BRC in to Sweetwater for service. If hardware upgrades are required, we can notify you with information on parts and cost before proceeding.
