How do I sync Cakewalk Sonar and Aardvark Aark24 to an Alesis BRC and Adats?
1. Options Audio
a. General tab
b. Playback Timing Master 1,2 Aark 24
c. Recording Timing Master 1,2 Aark 24
d. Sampling Rate (whatever ADAT is at 44.1 or 48), Bit 24
e. Latency < 50 msec
f. Advanced Tab
g. Synchronization, Trigger and Free Wheel
2. Options Project
a. Clock tab
b. Click SMPTE/MTC
c. Midi Output tab
d. check Transmit MMC
e. uncheck Zero controllers when play stops
3. Options Global
a. Timecode Tab
b. Always switch clock source and start (option 2 in list)
c. Maintain current clock source and wait for timecode (option 2 in the list)

Sync selection must be set to ADAT
NOTE: This means that the ADAT is the MASTER clock for audio recording and playback.
