I can punch-in individual tracks from the front panel of my XT, XT20 or LX20 when the unit is already in record, but not from the BRC. Why?
The XT incorporates significantly more processing power in its design. We were able to take the existing BRC and update the software in order for the BRC to function with the XT. However, the BRC is not capable of arming additional tracks when the XT is already in record. Instead, simply arm the tracks from the front panel of the XT itself.
