What are the BIOS settings for my original CSPro and CSRack Creation Station computers?
The following is a list of BIOS settings that are changed during the build process to optimize the system for audio. To enter the BIOS keep tapping the DELETE key on startup. Only the settings that are changed are listed, so if there is question whether other settings may have changed navigate to the “Exit” tab, select “Load Setup Defaults” and press ENTER.
– “Main” tab
Set the date and time first
o Legacy Diskette A = Disabled
– “Advanced” tab
o Onboard Devices Configuration (select and press enter)
OnBoard AC’97 Audio = Disabled
OnBoard Promise Controller = Disabled
Serial Port1 Address = Disabled
Serial Port2 Address = Disabled
Parallel Port Mode = Disabled
o USB Configuration (select and press enter)
Legacy USB Support = Disabled
– “Boot” tab
o Boot Device Priority (select and press enter)
1st Boot Device = Optical Drive (actual name may vary)
2nd Boot Device = System Drive (actual name may vary)
3rd Boot Device = Disabled
o Boot Settings Configuration
Full Screen Logo = Disabled
