What are the BIOS changes for my Creation Station with Intel motherboard? (CSTower i5, i564, LEi3, LEi364, LEdc) (CSRacki5, i564)
Press F2 as the computer is booting to enter the BIOS.
Arrow over to the “Exit” page, select “Load Optimal Defaults,” and press enter. Confirm that you want to load these optimal defaults and then press F10 to exit the BIOS saving changes. You must confirm this, too.
Get back in to the BIOS by pressing F2.
“Main” page, set the correct date and time.
“Advanced” page, select USB Configuration and disable “USB Legacy”
“Power” page, disable “CPU C States”
“Boot” page, set “Boot Menu Type” to Advanced
“Boot Drive Order,” set DVDRW drive to first device and your system hard drive* as the second device.
Disable “Boot to Network”
*By default, your system hard drive will be the drive listed on “SATA Port 0” on the “Advanced/Drive Configuration” page of the BIOS.
