I went to the “inserts” section to pull up my VST instrument and none of my instruments are there anymore?

With the update of version 5.2 to Logic:
Change to Audio Instrument Channel layout
The insert slot for software instrument plug-ins has been moved down to the I/O section of the Audio Instrument object. It is now located just above the output selection field, visually aligning itself with the channel I/O sections of all the other types of audio objects. This results in a more concise mixer layout.

  7. Hyperdraw latency : I’m using LAWP 4.1.1 and SBLive MME drivers which have a latency of 297 ms. Logic accommodates this latency when playing back audio so that it is in sync with the midi. The problem is that Hyperdraw messages don’t appear to get sent 297 ms early to compensate. They appear to get sent at the exact time as if there was no latency in the audio. I attempted to alter the delay to -297 to compensate but this brought the audio backward as well.
  8. Logic7 sometimes cannot save files in OS 10.3.7. Permissions error or File Already Exists error.
