How do I update the OS on a Roland VS2480 from a removable drive such as a Zip disk?
First, make sure the VS2480.PRG file is located on a PC- or Roland-formatted removable disk such as a Zip disk. While powering on, hold channel 7’s Ch Edit and Track Status buttons until the screen asks to update the software. Answer Yes, Yes, No. The process will take 30-60 seconds. Reboot, and at bootup, it will update for another 15-30 seconds and will be finished.
