The power supply for my Apogee Duet isn’t working.
Your Duet will not turn on without a USB connection. The USB acts as the “on switch” for the Duet. It will not run in standalone.
The power supply simply adds phantom power functionality and relieves the USB connection of supplying power so more bandwidth can be allocated to sending audio in and out of the Duet. You should use the power supply if you are working at higher sampling rates, using condenser microphones, or using your Duet with an iPad.
