The capacitive, touch-sensitive footswitches on my Line 6 Helix are not functioning properly.
In order to make use of the capacitive feature of the footswitches, you will need to make sure your Helix is in “Stomp Footswitch Mode.” You can enter Stomp Footswitch mode by pressing FS6 (MODE), which is the top right footswitch.
If the capacitive feature is still not working after entering Stomp Footswitch mode, verify that “Touch Select” is not turned off in the Global Settings for Footswitches. For more information, see page 43 in the user manual.
