When syncing Emagic Logic to out-board gear, why do they both jump to a specific time when I hit play?
Check in your Options – Settings – Synchronization settings. At the bottom of the screen is “Plays at SMPTE”. Make sure this is at 00:00:00:00. Below this is a checkbox for “Enable Separate SMPTE”. Check this box and another SMPTE box (Displayed as SMPTE) will pop out. Make sure this is also set at 00:00:00:00.
