Can I start and stop the ‘grooves’ in FXPansion BFD from within my sequencer?
Yes, this is what ‘groove notes’ are all about. They start at C5 and extend to B5 and correlate with any groove you have put into the groove librarian.
Make sure ‘respond to groove notes’ is enabled in the play options panel.
