Setting up the Numark TTUSB Turntable on Windows
When you copy your vinyl to your computer with the Numark TTUSB, you may find that the audio quality is less than what you expected or that the audio is riddled with clicks and pops. To fix this, we recommend that you use ASIO4all as your driver. You can download that from www.asio4all.com. When you install, make sure you check the option for Offline Settings. This will allow you to configure the ASIO4all driver settings.
Once you download and install ASIO4all, open it up and set your TTUSB as the record and playback device by clicking the button so that it lights up Blue. You should disable any other device from using ASIO4all as well.
Now you can go to your recording software and capture your vinyl records with clean audio. The only downside to this is you can’t listen to what’s being recorded. You may want to capture a small portion to make sure it’s running smoothly before capturing the entire record.
If you want to listen to the vinyl while it’s being recorded, you can still use the RCA outputs on the TTUSB. Keep in mind, however, that the audio from the RCA outputs comes direct from the TTUSB and will not reflect what is being captured on your computer.
