Setting Up Your Delta Card To Work With Logic (EASI drivers)

1. Go to Audio menu and then select Audio Preferences.

2. Go to the Audio Driver Tab.

3. From here, make sure that M Audio Delta EASI is selected.

4. PC AV must be checked at the top left as shown.

5. Towards the bottom, put a check in the 20/24-bit Recording to enable 24 bit recording and Software Monitoring checkboxes. This will enable Logic to automatically toggle between monitoring between our Monitor Mixer and WavOut.

6. Click Close when you’re finished.

7. Now from the Arrange window, double-click on an Audio track and you will get into the mixer section of Logic.

8. You should now be at the Mixer section of Logic.
From Audio track1 you will need to decide whether you are going to record a mono track or stereo on the O next to Rec. O represents mono, while OO represents stereo. This setting is located at the bottom of each fader.

9. Now you will need to direct the input signal where it says Input. Click and hold on the Input button and the Input Menu will appear.
You can now press on the Rec button and it will prompt you to where you want to save the audio files, select a desired loaction and hit OK.

10. Close the monitor window and you are ready to record.
