When I set up my fax software, it worked fine. Now, it never dials.
Sometimes software doesn’t successfully store the identity of the port to which your modem is connected. The software may have fallen back to its default of the Printer-Modem port. Or, you might have inserted the modem into a different slot than you used last time. Check the connection settings of your software; for the port, select either upper card slot or lower card slot as appropriate.
