Session Drummer will not open in Cakewalk SONAR.
You may need to update the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages on your computer in order to have Session Drummer work properly in SONAR.
You can download the update here. Once the download is complete, run the installer. Please be sure that SONAR is closed during this update.
Once the installation is complete, open SONAR and perform a VST scan by doing the following:
- In SONAR, navigate to Edit > Preferences > VST Settings
- Click the Scan button to perform a VST Scan
- Click Apply and close the Preferences window
- You should now be able to successfully open Session Drummer within SONAR
