Roland FP-3 Playing Rhythms

The FP-3 has a built-in Session Partner that provides rhythms in the style of jazz, rock and various other genres. Use the following procedure to play along with the Session Partner:

Note: If SPLIT is lit, press it once to turn it off.

1. Press the CHORD button.

2. The Session Partner, consisting of drums, bass and rhythm guitar automatically begins playing.

3. Use the + or – buttons to select a different rhythm pattern, even while the Session Partner is playing.

4. Press the DRUMS button to stop. The Session Partner will play an appropriate ending before stopping.
