How do I record multiple audio tracks in Steinberg CubaseSX for Windows?
1. Make sure you are using the specific ASIO driver for your audio card. Go to Devices, Device Setup, VST Multitrack, and make sure the ASIO driver does not say ASIO Multimedia Driver.
2. Show Panels by going to Devices – Show Panels (just for ease, you can skip this step)
3. Go to VST inputs and enable all your inputs you wish to use. You may have to drag the window larger to see all of them.
4. Go to VST Inputs and select different inputs for each track. If you select one incorrectly, you will know when you go to record enable them all- a previously record-enabled track will go inactive, indicating you have two setup for the same input channel.
