I receive a TC POWERCORE Error “-1008-17,-43 File not found” during installation of POWERCORE 1.6 Software.
This error only occurs when installing TC POWERCORE 1.6 on a system with Digital Performer. This installer requires a VSTPlugIns folder to properly install.
The solution is simple:
Create a “VSTPlugIns” folder on the desktop. After this please install the POWERCORE 1.6 and choose the “VSTPlugIns” folder you created as destination for the TC POWERCORE plug-ins. After the installation open the “VSTPlugIns” folder you created and move the Plug-Ins into following folder:
“Macintosh HD” / “System” / “Extensions” / “Motu” / “plug-ins”
This will be fixed in a new version of the installer.
