When I attempt to export a soundbite or bounce a selection in DP5 using the MPEG 4 format, I get an error like, “MAS, 1 error reported by Core Audio Export Plugin…”
At this time, Digital Performer does not support MP4 export. The option is displayed in DP because the application uses some system-common resources and sees an MP4 codec even though it can’t be used.
MOTU is looking into a solution. In the mean time, consider converting audio files to MPEG 4 by using iTunes.
