Reason Rack Extension Software Activation Instructions
In this guide, we will show you how to redeem and download Reason Rack Extensions. Follow the instructions below to get started.
Redeem the Rack Extension
The first step in the activation process is to redeem the code you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer.
- Log into your Reason Studios account.
- Once logged in, go to the Extension Rack redemption page, copy and paste the redemption code you received from your Sales Engineer, then click Redeem.
- On the next page, click Check Out.
Click the image to redeem your Rack Extension voucher code.
Download and install
Once you’ve redeemed the Rack Extension, the next and final step is downloading and installing the Rack Extension.
- If you haven’t already, download and install the Authorizer Installer.
- Go to your Reason Studios account page, click Rack Extensions, then click the download button next to the Rack Extension. The Authorizer app will open automatically and begin the software download.
- Launch Reason. Your new Rack Extension will be there, ready for you to use!

The estimated required monthly payment shown which excludes taxes and delivery equals the amount financed divided by the number of months in the promo period, rounded up to the next cent. During the last month(s) of the promo period the required monthly payment may be reduced due to this rounding. These payments apply only with the financing offer shown. If you make these payments by the due date each month, you should pay off this amount financed within the promo period, if it is the only balance you are paying off. If you have other balances on your account, this payment will be added to any other minimum monthly payments.
