Is it possible to play AIFF files in a downloaded to floppy disk from America Online in a K2000?
Sure you can play AIFF files on a K2000. First the floppy disk must be in DOS format. If you are using a Mac you will need either “Access PC” or Apples’ ” PC File Exchange in order to read / write / format the floppy disk as a DOS disk. You will also need a Mac with a 1.4 meg “Super Drive” floppy drive. Once the floppy disk is in DOS format, simply drag the AIFF file to the disk and then put it in the K2000. The K2000 MUST be version 3.01! You then can import the AIFF file into the K2000. Refer to page 4-66 in the Kurzweil Version 3 Musician Guide Supplement for more information.
