How do I perform auto-punches with the BRC?
With the BRC, if a vocalist is having a hard time with a particular phrase, simply select the REHEARSE function. Then, perform the punch-in manually. (The BRC automatically remembers the last Punch-In and Punch-Out point you performed in Location points 21 and 22). Engage AUTO-PUNCH. Disengage REHEARSE, roll back, then press PLAY and REC. The BRC will automatically punch-in the track and punch-out the track perfectly every time. It’s that fast and easy. In fact, you could engage LOOP with AUTO-PUNCH, and tell the artist to hit STOP after they get a take they are happy with, so you can go get a cup of coffee!
