Can I use a PCMCIA Firewire adapter to run a MOTU 828 or 896 off my Windows laptop if it doesn’t already have Firewire?
It should work- we have not had any negative feedback on PCMCIA Firewire cards as long as they contain the recommended TI chipset. Check with the manufacturer’s specs on the card before purchasing to make sure.
