OSX OMF problems in Logic 6.1

Description: Using Digitranslator an OMF-File was exported from ProTools 6.0/6.0.1.

While trying to import this file into LOGIC Platinum 6.1 audio files are missing or following error message pops up:

“OMF Error / Error Code 205 / OMFI-ERR: Bento Container Error “

Explanation: There are known incompatibility issues between ProTools 6 and LOGIC 6.1.

Suggestion: It is possible to use ProTools 5.x under MAC OS9 for OMF Export.

Solution: Digidesign and EMAGIC are working on a solution.

  8. Hyperdraw latency : I’m using LAWP 4.1.1 and SBLive MME drivers which have a latency of 297 ms. Logic accommodates this latency when playing back audio so that it is in sync with the midi. The problem is that Hyperdraw messages don’t appear to get sent 297 ms early to compensate. They appear to get sent at the exact time as if there was no latency in the audio. I attempted to alter the delay to -297 to compensate but this brought the audio backward as well.
