“Could not complete request because file open (-38) while reading protools.vdb” after using BFD in ProTools 7.3.x in Mac OSX.
Digidesign and FXPansion have acknowledged this is a bug and are working to fix the problem.
BFD will normally work in PT, but opening another session (with or without BFD) will cause this error. A workaround is to quit ProTools before opening another session.
