Nightfox Audio Software Activation Instructions

Getting Started 

In this guide, we will show you how to activate and access your Nightfox Audio software. To continue, follow each of the sections below.

1. Nightfox Audio Account 
   • Log in to current Nightfox Audio account 
   • Create new Nightfox Audio account 
2. Redemption Code 
   • Activate Redemption Code 
3. Nightfox HQ 
   • Download and install Nightfox HQ 
   • Configure sound library settings 
   • Download and install software

Nightfox Audio Account 

Nightfox Audio software requires a Nightfox Audio account. If you already have a Nightfox Audio account and wish to register your new software to that account, please verify the username and login before proceeding. Most users will only have one account, but in some cases, you may wish to create another account to distinguish different locations, users, etc…

IMPORTANT!
Do not create multiple Nightfox Audio accounts if you only need one. Instead, try accessing the account using your current login. If necessary, try resetting your password or recovering your account login.    

Either log in to your current Nightfox Audio account or create a new one, then proceed to Redemption Code.  

Log in to current Nightfox Audio account 

1. Go to the Nightfox Audio website and click Login.  
2. Enter your current login, enter the code sent to your email, and click Continue 
3. Click Orders and verify your current products are registered to the current account. 

Create new Nightfox Audio account 

1. Go to the Nightfox Audio website and click Login.  
2. Enter your email and click Continue 
3. Enter the code sent to your email and click Continue 
4. Sign in using your new login to verify your account.

Redemption Code  

Sweetwater has emailed you the Redemption Code to activate your software. Open the email, find the Redemption Code, and follow the steps below to register.  

Activate Redemption Code 

1. Go to the My Account page and log in.  
2. Go to the Redeem page.  
3. Enter your Redeem Code and click Check Redemption Code.

Nightfox HQ 

Nightfox Audio software is downloaded from the Nightfox HQ app. Many virtual instruments require storage space allocation for their large sound library files. Configure the download and install location for sound libraries to external storage to maximize your computer’s internal storage capacity and general performance.  

Download and install Nightfox HQ 

1. Go to the Nightfox HQ page.  
2. Click the download button compatible with your computer.  
3. Open your Downloads folder and run the installer: 
   • PC: Double-click the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
   • Mac: Double-click the .dmg file to open it. Drag and drop the app to the Applications folder. 

Configure Sound Library Settings 

1. Open Nightfox HQ and log in.  
2. Click the user icon and select Settings.  
3. Click the Change Location button and select the preferred storage location.  

Download and install software 

1. Open Nightfox HQ and log in.   
2. Click the Purchased tab to view your products.  
3. Select your product and click Install.
