My Morgan SW22R combo amp has a rattling noise when I play lower notes.
The stock power tubes (JJ 6V6) that are shipped with the Morgan SW22R are susceptible to the bass notes on your guitar. Because of the construction of this tube and the placement of them on the SW22R, they may produce a rattling sound during sustained bass notes. This is normal and is not an indication of a defect.
We have found that the Electro-Harmonix brand 6V6 tubes do not produce the rattle as their construction is different than the JJ brand and they are not as susceptible to lower frequencies.
