How do I monitor a channel in Steinberg CubaseSX or SL?
You can do this in the VST Channel View, VST Mixer, or Arrange Window. There is a button which looks like a speaker next to or below the Record button. Push it and the input signal will be heard according to the output routing of the track. This will not record unless you record enable the track.
