MAC: Shared Lib “Digidesign Direct I/O” Not found

If a Digi 001, D24, Project II or Audiomedia III is used under LOGIC 5.1.3 following alert appears:

“Shared Lib ‘Digidesign Direct I/O’ Not found.”

The Audio Hardware is not available then.

and

“Error -1 Digidesign Direct I/O “

Explanation:
Since LOGIC 5.1.3 you have to use DSI 5.0.

If you want to use DSI 5.0.1 or higher, there is a separated Direct I/O library since this version, that has to be downloaded and installed in addition to the DSI.
