I launched Kontakt in Stand Alone Mode and the Audio preference was still set to MAS but now there is no MIDI?
On most programs, the audio and midi drivers are very separate and can be operated independantly. In this case, Kontakt sees the MAS as 1 unit and will not let you operate your midi input from another source. In other words, If you have MAS seleted in Kontakt, then unless you have DP3 open, you will not get Midi input into Kontakt.
