KV331 Audio Software Activation Instructions
Getting started
IMPORTANT: The “Code” in your activation e-mail is known as a Registration Code.
In this guide, we will show you how to register, install, and activate your KV331 virtual instrument. Follow the sections below to get started.
Register the software
Before you can use your product, you first need to register it with KV331. Doing this will give you access to the downloads and access to license keys if needed in the future. Follow these steps to register your software.
- Go to the KV331 registration page.
- Fill out the information including a valid e-mail address, then click Register.

Download and install the software
The next step is to download and install your product. Once you complete registration, you’ll gain access to download links. If you need to gain access to the downloads at a later time, you will need to enter your e-mail address and serial number again. Follow these steps to complete the installation process.
- On the user account screen, select the product download for your OS.
- Go to your Downloads folder, then extract and launch the installer file.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Activate the plug-in
KV331 software is activated by a license key that is downloaded to your computer. You’ll need your serial number and e-mail address during the activation process, so follow these steps to complete the authorization.
- Load your product onto a virtual instrument track.
- Enter your e-mail address and serial number to download the license key file.
- Close then reload the plug-in to complete the process.
Receiving an error?
If you receive an error stating the file is missing or not valid, you will be asked to enter your e-mail and Serial number which will automatically download to your computer. If your computer is offline, click here to download a license file and place it in My Documents/SynthMaster on PC or Documents/SynthMaster on Mac.

If you do not, interest will be charged on the promo balance from the purchase date. The estimated required monthly payment shown which excludes taxes and delivery equals the amount financed divided by the number of months in the promo period, rounded up to the next cent. During the last month(s) of the promo period the required monthly payment may be reduced due to this rounding. These payments apply only with the financing offer shown. If you make these payments by the due date each month, you should pay off this amount financed within the promo period, if it is the only balance you are paying off. If you have other balances on your account, this payment will be added to any other minimum monthly payments.
