Why don’t my Kontakt instruments audition when I click on them? The Auto button is on, and I tried the “speaker” button also.
While Kontakt does have the ability to audition or “preview” sounds, it is only able to do this with audio files or samples (ie WAV or AIFF files).
Kontakt is not able to audition instruments in this way because the instrument’s samples would have to loaded into memory (as though you were loading the instrument normally).
