How do I test my MIDI device on a Mac?
You can use Audio MIDI Setup to test your MIDI devices on a Mac. To access Audio MIDI Setup:
- Open your Applications folder.
- Find the Utilities folder within.
- Open Audio MIDI Setup.
- If you don’t see the MIDI Studio window, click the Window menu and choose Show MIDI Window.
- Verify that your device is connected to your computer and appears in the MIDI Studio window.
- Click on Test Setup.
- You can now test the transmission of MIDI data.
