How do I setup the Pro Tools Playback Engine (Versions 9 and up)?

To setup your Playback Engine, do the following:
- Click on the Setup menu at the top of your screen.
- Choose Playback Engine.
- When the Playback Engine dialogue opens, select your interface from the drop down menu at the top.
Note: You can also adjust your hardware buffer size from this window. Choose a lower setting for lower latency when tracking or a higher setting to increase CPU performance when mixing.
