Heritage Audio Software Activation Instructions
Getting Started
In this guide, we will show you how to activate and access your Heritage Audio software. To continue, follow each of the sections below.
Heritage Audio Account
Heritage Audio software requires a Heritage Audio account. If you already have a Heritage Audio account and want to register your new software to that account, please verify the username and login before proceeding. Most users will only have one account, but in some cases, you may choose to create another account to distinguish different locations, users, etc…
IMPORTANT!
Do not create multiple Heritage Audio accounts if you only need one. Instead, try accessing the account using your current login. If necessary, try resetting your password or recovering your account login.
Either log in to your current Heritage Audio account or create a new one, then proceed to iLok Account.
Log in to current Heritage Audio account
- Go to the Heritage Audio website.
- Click the Log in, enter your current login, and click Log in.
- Verify your current products are registered to the current account.
Create new Heritage Audio account
- Go to the Heritage Audio website and click Register.
- Complete the form and click Register.
- Sign in using your new login to verify your account.
iLok Account
iLok licensed software requires iLok License Manager to activate. If you already have an iLok account and wish to register your new software to that account, please verify the username and login before proceeding. If this is your first iLok licensed software, instead create an iLok User ID to deposit your licenses. Most users will only have one account, but in some cases, you may wish to create another account to distinguish different locations, users, etc…
IMPORTANT!
iLok User IDs are case-sensitive. Go to the iLok Account Recovery page to reset your password or recover your iLok User ID.

Get iLok License Manager, either log in to your current iLok account or create a new one, and then continue to Serial Number and iLok License.
Download and install iLok License Manager
- Go to iLok’s iLok License Manager page and click the download button that is compatible with your computer.
- Open your Downloads folder and run the installer:
- PC: Right-click the .zip file, select Extract all…, then click Extract. Double-click the new .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Mac: Double-click the .zip file to unpack it. Open the new .dmg file, double-click the .pkg file, and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Open iLok License Manager and log in with your new iLok User ID.
Log in to current iLok account
- Open iLok License Manager.
- Log in with your current iLok User ID.
- View your account’s licenses to verify the current iLok User ID is the intended destination for your new licenses.
Create new iLok User ID
- Go to iLok’s Account Registration page.
- Complete the registration form and click Create Account.
- Open the iLok Account Activation email and click on the included verification link.
Activation Code and iLok License
Sweetwater has emailed you the Activation Code to activate your software. Open the email, find the Activation Code, and follow the steps below to register.
Register the Activation Code, activate the iLok license, and then continue to Download and Install.
Register iLok Activation Code
- Open the iLok License Manager app.
- Go to Licenses, then click Redeem Activation Code. Alternatively, click the “..I” button (next to the search bar) to view the prompt.
- Enter your code and click Next.
Activate iLok License
Your software license is deposited to the iLok User ID entered in the previous steps. Use iLok License Manager to activate your new license to a valid location.
- Open iLok License Manager and log in with your iLok User ID.
- Activate your iLok license to a valid location.
Download and Install
Heritage Audio software is downloaded from the Plugins page.
Add software to account
- Go to the Plugins page and select your product.
- Click the license drop down menu and select Demo 14 Days.
- Click Add to Cart and select your cart to check out.
- Enter your iLok login and click Log in to iLok to log in.
- Click Proceed to checkout.
- Complete the form and click Checkout.
Download and install software
- Go to your My Account Downloads page.
- Click your product’s download button compatible with your computer.
- Open your Downloads folder and run the installer:
- PC: Right-click the .zip file, select Extract all…, then click Extract. In the new folder, double-click the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Mac: Double-click the .zip file to unpack it. Double-click the .pkg file and follow the on-screen instructions.

If you do not, interest will be charged on the promo balance from the purchase date. The estimated required monthly payment shown which excludes taxes and delivery equals the amount financed divided by the number of months in the promo period, rounded up to the next cent. During the last month(s) of the promo period the required monthly payment may be reduced due to this rounding. These payments apply only with the financing offer shown. If you make these payments by the due date each month, you should pay off this amount financed within the promo period, if it is the only balance you are paying off. If you have other balances on your account, this payment will be added to any other minimum monthly payments.
